Your primary Bot turns proactive
Your primary Bot is marked with a star. It now spots work it can take off your plate and offers to handle it. This needs Grok Bot 0.59.0 or later.
The primary Bot is your main point of contact. It coordinates work with your other Bots. To pick a different one right click it in the sidebar and choose Replace with different Bot (Grok Bot docs: Bots).
When a Bot in a Slack thread needs your approval it now posts a Review an action card that only you can answer. Before this it dropped the action.
In a Slack thread the card offers Allow once and Deny and View details. Only the person who asked can answer it (Grok Bot docs: Approvals). With the same release you can ask a Team Bot in Slack to message one of your own Bots. The reply comes to you privately in Grok Bot.
You can give one Bot the files and apps and skills a role needs. Then you share it with your team. Each person's conversations with it stay private.
Team Bots also work in Slack. Each one has its own handle that you can invite to a channel. The feature first shipped in app version 0.61.0 on 26 September (Grok Bot changelog). The docs now call them shared Bots.
Grok Bot opened to enterprises with controls for access and network and audit. Grok and Cursor Enterprise customers got two weeks of free usage. They could invite their whole organization.
The app release that day made Grok Bot available to every Enterprise team and not only to organizations with early access. It also added audit logs for Bot creation and access changes and team setup (Grok Bot changelog v0.40.0).
Connect your X account in Grok Bot. Then ask a Bot to search posts or read your timeline or check mentions. Paid Grok Bot users get free X API credits to start.
If you don’t have an X developer account one is created for you when you connect. Tagging @bot on X to hand a post to your Bot is a separate feature. It is not yet available for X accounts based in the EU or Iceland or Liechtenstein or Norway or the UK or Australia (Grok Bot docs).
You can share a Bot as a template. Others add their own copy from the link. When a Bot wants to buy something a card shows the amount. You choose Allow or Deny.
When you share you choose who can use the template: your team or anyone. Team admins can limit members to sharing within the team. The same release added these languages to the app:
Grok Bot is now included with all SuperGrok and Cursor Pro and Cursor Teams plans. Its usage stays separate from your Grok and Cursor plans.

Plans have changed since. New customers now start on The X Subscription. There Grok Bot is included with Premium and Super and Ultra. It is not included with Plus (Grok Bot docs).

SuperGrok and SuperGrok Plus and SuperGrok Heavy

Cursor Teams Standard and Premium
Grok Bot came with its own usage. It was separate from your Grok and Cursor plans. Enterprise users could join a waitlist.
